I’m an entrepreneur and musician living close to Düsseldorf, Deutschland.

I’ve been part of the digital journey since the beginning, learning the ropes on the BBS scene in the 1980s before founding ecx.io, a leading European digital agency back in 1995. I’ve helped companies such as Aldi Süd, Schlüter-Systems, Axalta or Alnatura to successfully manage the digital transformation.

After selling ecx.io to IBM in 2016 I mainly work as a management consultant focussing on  digital transformation and M&A projects.

In 1995 I founded ecx.io, which became a leading European digital agency focussed on Digital Transformation and E-Commerce. With currently more than 300 employees at the headquarter in Düsseldorf and offices in Wels (Austria), Vienna, London and Varaždin (Croatia), ecx.io works for international clients such as Aldi Süd, Red Bull, Lufthansa or Heineken.

In 2016 I successfully sold the company to IBM.

In 2007 I founded now-in.org together with Dr.Bernward Malaka as a platform to search and plan events such as concerts, shows and exhibitions. The company soon became the leading German event search engine.

In 2010 I left the company and sold my shares to external investors.
